Epoxy art

October 11, 2 - 5 p.m.: Beginner's course in epoxy art (fully booked)

Get to know the fascinating world of epoxy technology.

Epoxy is a clear resin that dries to an impact-resistant, crystal-clear and high-gloss finish. The two resin components are mixed to produce a clear viscous liquid that can be colored with pigments. By adding silicone oil or special cell generators, structures similar to the Fluid Art casting process can be achieved.

24. 1. 26 Beginners' course in film developing and print production

Period 13 - approx. 18 hrs (depending on drying times).

Participation fee 80 € incl. material.

Standard procedure:

We develop a film that you bring with you already exposed.

Threading into the developer can is carried out in the darkroom in complete darkness, development is then carried out in daylight in the lightproof can.

The developed film is then dried, cut, filed and scanned.

Enlarger in the darkroom under red light
Exposure of the photographic paper in the darkroom

A print is then made from a selected negative on RC paper, which is then dried so that it is "ready to travel":

The photographic paper is exposed in the darkroom under red light.

The exposed photographic paper is developed in a light-tight rotary machine in daylight.
