We create to inspire

- Walter & Petra Ina Pfefferle

Our pictures want to arouse emotions and thereby create resonance. They should tie in with the viewer's wealth of experience and set something in motion in him. This stimulation, this inspiration is at the heart of our work.

About the Pfefferles

Walter Pfefferle

Born and raised in Swabia, studied biology and spent many years in business development.
Fascinated by people and the idea of using black and white photographs to make people's emotional state visible.

Petra Ina Pfefferle

Growing up in the Braunschweig region, (born 1957), I discovered my enthusiasm for colors and nature at an early age. In addition to my professional work in research, the love of artistic design has always remained true to me. First with needle and thread, then with hand-dyed wool, now with bright colors on canvas.

What guides us?

We are both shaped by a professional life in biology, formerly also called life science.
When studying this life science, one can hardly escape the aesthetics of the regularities of the living, which can be experienced in the most diverse areas.

On the one hand, it is the order inherent in the life system, but then also the colors, forms, materials, which are of an exuberant variety.

And the human being?
He is the decisive creative factor of today on this planet. At the same time, however, always a part of this bio-system.
Its coexistence and its togetherness.
This fascinating field of tension between the individual and the social being.

With our pictures we want to tell stories that touch and stimulate in equal measure: of the interpersonal and the human being in nature, the challenges associated with this in the traditional ancient sense and in the modern social context - just people - stories.

Infinite worlds

Many years ago Ingo Insterburg sang: "...then it became too small for me in the world, therefore I moved into the universe!" A humorous journey, which I join here, ends in the vastness of space.
